Firstly, a Wipe Away Clean technician will carry out a preliminary inspection to identify and highlight any pre-existing damage. Where possible oven doors are removed and split down to enable effective and comprehensive cleaning of the oven interior. Glass panels will be removed and cleaned appropriately.

Our oven cleaning technician will talk you through the cleaning process before they start and answer any questions you may have.
They will prepare their equipment and start by removing the door of your oven if possible. They will then strip the oven and remove the trays and racks. These will be cleaned outside in a special burner that will make them look like new when you first bought your oven.
The main part of your oven is then cleaned removing all stubborn grease and burnt on carbon deposits and wherever possible we will take the oven door apart and thoroughly clean between the glass. Once this is complete everything is put back just the way we found it – but looking clean and new!
If your oven light bulb has broken or if the seal requires replacement these are jobs which the technician can perform for you if you so wish at a small additional cost.
If you want your hob or extractor cleaned as well, then all removable parts will be taken off and thoroughly cleaned to match your sparkling clean oven.

This depends to a great extent on the condition of the oven. A single oven usually takes 1 to 1½ hours and a double 2 to 2½ hours. For a range or an AGA we usually allow 3 to 4 hours. Rest assured we always allow time between appointments to ensure we bring your oven up to as near showroom condition as possible.
Yes – most self-clean ovens rarely get heated to the temperature required for self-cleaning to produce the optimum result.
